Make It Fashion! - As seen in The New York Times

B R O O K L Y N ,  N Y

When embarking on the design of small spaces, think big right from the start! Our vision began with the concept of crafting a saloon with multiple seating areas. To achieve the illusion of a bar, we mounted a cost-effective and lightweight butcher block countertop as well as a floating shelf and wrapped both artfully in contact paper. We stacked frameless mirrors between and above to finish off our faux-bar look.  Given the absence of a window in this space, the silhouette of these mirrors helped to create the illusion of one. To enhance this effect, we dressed the wall with matching fabric to the wallpaper, reinforcing the semblance of a window and serving the dual purpose of sound absorption. We finished styling the room by adding a few fresh plants and book boxes that hide your bartender kit in a thoughtfully tidy way!
